Terms of Service
Last updated: 3 October 2026.
1. The Service
Stagecut ("the Service") is operated by Martin Grüter (see the Impressum for contact details). It prepares short vertical videos from a creator's own footage and posts them on a schedule to that creator's own YouTube, TikTok and Instagram accounts. It is currently offered free of charge, by invitation, to creators the operator knows personally.
2. Eligibility and your content
- You may only use the Service with accounts you own or are authorized to manage, and with content you have the rights to publish (including music, performances and the people shown).
- You remain the owner of your content. You grant the operator only the permission needed to process and publish it to the accounts you connected, as you instructed.
- You are responsible for your content complying with the rules of each platform (YouTube/Google Terms of Service and Community Guidelines, TikTok Terms of Service and Community Guidelines, Instagram/Meta Terms of Use and Community Standards) and applicable law.
3. Connecting accounts
You connect each platform through that platform's official login and consent screen. The Service never sees your password. You may revoke access at any time in the platform's settings or by emailing the operator; see the Privacy Policy.
4. How posting works
- Posting happens at a modest, fixed rate (about two videos per platform per day) with built-in daily limits intended to stay well within each platform's rules.
- You approve the connected account, the schedule and the posting settings once, when you set the Service up, and you can pause or stop it at any time. Where a platform requires additional confirmation or disclosure settings for a post, the Service follows that platform's rule. On Instagram the Service publishes only "Trial Reels"; making a reel public is always your own decision in the Instagram app.
- The Service does not buy or sell followers, likes or views, does not automate engagement, and does not scrape platforms.
5. Availability and no guarantee
The Service depends on third-party platforms and on the operator's computer and internet connection. Posts may be delayed, skipped or fail, for example because a platform changes or limits its interface. The Service is provided "as is", without any promise of reach, growth, uninterrupted availability or that a platform will not restrict an account for reasons outside the operator's control.
6. Liability
The operator is liable without limitation for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, and under mandatory law. For slight negligence, liability is limited to breach of essential contractual duties and to foreseeable, typical damage. Otherwise liability is excluded to the extent the law permits.
7. Ending use
You can stop using the Service at any time by revoking access and asking for deletion. The operator may end the Service or a creator's access at any time, for example if platform rules are breached.
8. Changes and law
These terms may be updated; the date above shows the current version. German law applies, excluding mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence.
